Hi
Well, I thought that since we have only been posting pictures on our
blog up until now, that maybe I should put a quick text post up.
The past few weeks I have been working on getting our hospital stores
here computerized. This has involved getting a database installed on a
computer and then entering around 700 inventory items into that
database. Next, we had to develop some sort of system to get similar
reports to our finance department while completely moving away from the
journal system used for the past 25 years. I must admit, the journal
system is probably more accurate and easier to work with but the time
savings with the computer system is amazing. It probably cuts the job
time in half. The system is now running quite well though I have needed
to be on site for about 2 hours a day and will continue to do that for
the next 2-4 weeks. I praise the Lord for his help in this as it could
have gone many different directions.

Melissa and Melody are at home today, Melody woke up early this morning
so I took her for a walk outside the gate to get some things we needed.
Melissa is going to be doing some baking for the prayer meeting tomorrow
night and for the English church service on Friday. If we can find some
shop where butter is available we might be able to enjoy some nice
coffee cake or cinnamon rolls.
Well... I am writing this while on the job. I better get back to work.
